    What You Will Be Doing

    We are looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented person to help take the Residential Security Sales department to the next level. We are looking for someone with strong communications skills, both one on one and in front of groups; an ability to present products and services in a compelling manner; ask informed questions to understand potential clients’ interests and needs and explain why Hotwire’s security services are the right solution to fulfill those needs. The right candidate will be professional in appearance, be able to establish trust and confidence with potential clients in their communities and in their homes. In addition, the SSS will work closely with Residential Sales Specialists (RSS) who are responsible for in-home sales of additional products and services, to continuously improve their performance in support of the Security product line.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities

    • Responsible for meeting sales targets in assigned territory
    • Generate leads through targeted marketing and communications programs, follow up on leads, set appointments and close sales
    • Attending events such as town halls in assigned communities in order to help answer questions pertaining to residential security
    • Assist in the creation of new:
    • Training strategies/programs
    • Marketing strategies/collateral
    • 30% office, 70% in the field (appointments)
    • Must have reliable transportation

    What You Need to Bring

    Preferred Experience

    • 1+ year in customer facing sales role
    • 1+ year in customer facing customer service role
    • Knowledge of alarm.com products, 2 gig products, home security in general
    • Cold calling/door knocking experience

    Preferred Qualifications/Certification

    • BASA/FASA certification
    • College Degree
