    The Installation Technician will be responsible for pulling wire within the subscriber home for new installation work.

    What You Will Be Doing

    The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Supervise and coordinate the daily warehousing activities; and adhere to operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews. Implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within the established time frame.

     

    Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

    • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
    • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
    • Controls Hotwire inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
    • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements
    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
    • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
    • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
    • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
    • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • All other activities requested by Hotwire Management

    What You Need to Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent, is highly preferred
    • At least five years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
    • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
    • Proven experience with safety management
    • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
    • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data, as well as inventory control
    • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Self-discipline and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environment
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends as necessary
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Additional Responsibility

    Additional duties include but are not limited to facility maintenance, delivery driver, on call/emergency repairs and assist in property audits/field operation.

     

    Required Qualifications

    • High School degree or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required.
    • A minimum of five year’s Warehouse experience.
    • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is essential to the role and must be able to work nights and weekends or flexible schedules based on business needs.
    • Must have valid driver’s license with great driving record.
    • Basic math, organization, computer, and communication skills.
    • Ability to walk/stand for full shift; do repetitive bending, squatting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and hand motions.
