  • Who We Are

Come power the future with us!

From the beginning, Hotwire Communications has been focused on the future – bringing the power and speed of fiber optics directly to customers. We were among the first companies in the US to offer IPTV Video and the first to offer gigabit speeds in Florida.

    And that leadership continues.

We are looking for team members who are passionate about technology and what it means for all our lives. We are looking for leaders to drive us into the future and we are looking for individuals who are prepared to do whatever it takes to create a truly exceptional customer experience day in and day out.

    What You Will Be Doing

As our TV Financial Analyst, you play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success of our partnerships with the various TV networks, content distributors, and other programming partners—partners like HBO, Showtime, and ESPN. You are responsible for all financial analyses and reports as related to “per subscriber” network license fees and other programming costs.

This is a highly visible, time-sensitive, fast-paced, and complex role that has a direct impact on fulfilling legal obligations to our programming partners, as well as the financial functioning of the company.

On any given day, you will:

    • Work directly with the Director of Content & Programming to streamline processes while ensuring all analyses and reports are accurate
    • Work directly with internal departments to obtain and analyze data from our billing system and video middleware
    • Use complex mathematical formulas and nested if/then statements to aggregate this data for financial analyses and reports
    • Create extremely detailed reports needed in order to process programming invoices for payment
    • Create, manage, and maintain a single database for these financial analyses and reports
    • Responsible for internal tracking and ensuring that all programming invoices are paid by their due date
    • Responsible for submitting contractually-obligated reports to our programming partners by their due date

    What You Need to Bring

    • Razor-sharp attention to detail
    • Exceptional time management skills
    • Ability to intuitively analyze data (“does this # look right?”) and take the initiative to troubleshoot if needed
    • Microsoft Excel – Expert Level
    • Experience creating and managing databases (ideally using Microsoft Access) with complex mathematical calculations and nested if/then statements
    • Proven ability to handle highly sensitive confidential information
