    What You Will Be Doing

    Hotwire Communications is looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented person to help take the Residential Security department to the next level. The SSS (Security Sales Specialist) will report to the Business Development Manager (BDM) Security. We are looking for someone with strong communications skills, both one on one and in front of groups; an ability to present products and services in a compelling manner; ask informed questions to understand potential clients’ interests and needs and explain why Hotwire’s security services are the right solution to fulfill those needs. The right candidate will be professional in appearance, be able to establish trust and confidence with potential clients in their communities and in their homes. In addition, the SSS will work closely with Residential Sales Specialists (RSS) who are responsible for in-home sales of additional products and services, to continuously improve their performance in support of the Security product line


    Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

      • Responsible for meeting sales targets in assigned territory
      • Generate leads through targeted marketing and communications programs, follow up on leads, set appointments and close sales
      • Continued coaching of RSS team in assigned area via:
        • Classroom trainings
        • Accompanying reps on Pre-Set in home appointments
      • Attending events such as townhalls in assigned communities in order to help answer questions pertaining to residential security
      • Assist BDM in creating new:
        • Training strategies/programs
        • Marketing strategies/collateral
      • 30% office, 70% in the field (appointments)
        • Must have reliable transportation

    What You Need to Bring

    • At least one year in customer facing sales role
    • At least one year in customer facing customer service role
    • Knowledge of products, 2 gig products, home security in general
    • Cold calling/door knocking experience
    • Preferred Qualifications/Certification
    • BASA/FASA certification
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
    • Attainment in identifying a client’s needs and providing strategic solutions
    • Detail-oriented and ability to execute with high-level of accuracy
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Hones a sense of urgency and goal-oriented
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to management multiple assignments, projects, and tasks concurrently
    • Strong work ethic and display personal and corporate integrity
    • Self-motivated and results-driven
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adaptable to the company’s changing needs
