    What You Will Be Doing

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Drivers will be responsible for driving (operating, maneuvering, navigating) commercial vehicles for the purpose of transporting and distributing material and equipment related to telecommunication operations. To support the company value of teamwork, CDL drivers will be expected to assist as laborers in the field with any construction projects as needed.
    • Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up of worksite traffic and safety controls and properly securing work area.
    • Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access u/g vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches.
    • Preferred experience with Ditch Witch TK RECON Series HDD Guidance System
    • Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestals, vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks.
    • Fully restore worksite at completion of daily work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, and replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction
    • When required and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments
    • Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use.
    • Able to perform physical tasks for the entire assigned work shift
    • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
    • Able to work with QA department and complete work without damages.
    • Is proficient at using small hand tools and larger power tools.
    • Basic computer skills, Microsoft systems, outlook, excel.
    • Works with Direct and Indirect Supervision.
    • Attendance, above average and is prompt.
    • Able to properly document and submit timesheets, on time.
    • Compliant with safety procedures and requirements
    • Demonstrates and exhibits proper Uniform practices.
    • Advocate of the white-glove company mantra, and exhibits up beat professional, positive attitude with customers, and property staff.

    What You Need to Bring




    Years in Industry: 2-5 years of experience performing underground utility locating/construction, trenching, boring, for a medium to large scale Telecommunications provider, or equivalent.



    • Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Bending/Stooping - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping) – 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Lifting (weights up to 80 lbs.) - Occasionally
    • Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 feet) - Regularly
    • Push / Pull – 6 to 8 hours daily    


    Endorsed Professional Certifications:

    Class A CDL License - preferred
