    What You Will Be Doing

    Hotwire Business Solutions is a next-generation converged communications provider that delivers service over an extensive state-of-the-art Fiber Optic network. Hotwire's Fision Work products provide a full suite of advanced business solutions including High Speed Internet, Voice, Video Conferencing, Security, and IPTV delivering businesses enterprise-quality services.

    The Field Technician is responsible for completion of all customer installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and conversion tickets impacting our customers. The technician is responsible for monitoring and responding to tickets that are dispatched electronically or telephonically for completion within company specified metrics.  Must utilize and possess sufficient skills, training, and equipment to complete trouble, service and installation orders for voice, data, and video (TV).

     

    JOB EXPECTATIONS |

     

    • Responsible for all Safety related duties pertaining to fiber to the building service and trouble call installation and maintenance.
    • Meet commitments to customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Responsible for applying adopted company policies and operational practices that allow our daily operations to succeed.
    • Install all company offered products thru accurate and timely installation, including hosted PBX phone systems, YeaLink phone hardware, Dish and MediaRoom and data services via fiber optics.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    • Professional customer interaction on a daily basis.
    • Responsible for hitting company set metrics on Trouble and Service ticket resolution times

    4 hour resolution on all trouble tickets.

    What You Need to Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years related experience
    • Understanding of basic voice, data and video communications required
    • Knowledge of LAN and networking is essential
    • PC utilization skills necessary
    • Telecom tools required
    • Troubleshooting knowledge required
    • Strong oral and customer service skills
    • Time management skills
