    What You Will Be Doing

    The role of the Account Manager is to be per the liaison between Hotwire and assigned property. In addition, the Account Manager must take primary responsibility for the coordination of service delivery and overall performance at an assigned community or territory and also identify new business opportunities within your geographic territory.


    Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

    1. Account Managers are the chief relationship and marketing officer on each assigned Hotwire community.
    • On site visits - You need to make sure that you visit personally with each assigned Property Manager at least 2x per month. If applicable, coordinate thru the Property Manager to meet with the property association Board of Directors at least 2x each calendar year.


      • Events - Every property requires a Hotwire sponsored event each year. Can be as simple as a breakfast, participation in an existing community celebration (summer BBQ), etc. You are required to identify an event for each assigned community that fits the profile of that specific community. Hotwire Marketing will assist with the event planning and execution.
      • Collateral/Web Site - You are required to make sure Hotwire collateral is printed and available at the management office. Please refill this material each time you visit the property. Make sure that the material being provided is sufficient for the community. Ask the managers what is needed and if necessary email marketing with requests for collateral. Be sure Hotwire property web site is complete and has accurate information.
    • Communication - You are responsible for suggesting content for a quarterly mailer to be sent to each community with Hotwire updates and announcements and information relevant for the community (new channels, new features, etc.)


    • Emergency Information - If upgrades, planned maintenance, or any other service impacting work is to be performed, you are required to notify the effected property via phone call and if requested via email to property board of directors and or an IT director (if one is employed by the property) prior to such work being performed. In addition, if available, you must put such announcement on the community channel and also provide an email (to be provided by marketing) for the property manager to blast to the residents.
    • Collections - You will be responsible for helping to collect bulk payments and keeping the property receivables current.


    2.  Be responsible for penetration metrics and financial performance at your properties.

    • Every month you will be given a Penetration report for each building you serve. You must review information for accuracy and report and concerns. Penetration goals will be established for each building based on demographic s and similar buildings. You will be responsible for making sure we achieve our goals and objectives.
    • Be responsible for identifying products and services customers or management is requesting and coordinate marketing offers being made to the property.
    • As may be needed, directly communicate with end-users to assist in initial service sign-up or service trouble resolution.


    3.  Identify new business opportunities for Hotwire within assigned territory(s).


    4.  Account Managers are the advocate of the community within Hotwire. You need to be the eyes and ears of quality of service at the community. You must escalate to senior management any known property issue that you feel is not being address promptly. Account Managers are required to understand the build of the property and build relationships with key players at a property.

    What You Need to Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
    • 2-4 years of telecommunications industry experience with account management experience preferred
    • Strong English verbal and written skills
    • Strong time management skills
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Attainment in identifying a client’s needs and providing strategic solutions
