    What You Will Be Doing

    Hotwire provides IPTV service using the Ericsson MediaRoom platform. We are growing our engineering team to facilitate enriching the feature set and improving the quality of the service we provide to our customers.

    • Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the MediaRoom environment (running over Microsoft Windows OS). Proactively monitor system to anticipate and mitigate problems.
    • Support for after-hours requests that respond to business emergencies (on-call rotation)
    • Manage assigned tasks, be a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Monitor and respond to system issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

    What You Need to Bring

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience; OR, High School equivalent and 5+ years of experience.
    • 3+ years operational experience in Cable TV / Direct Broadcast Satellite, and preferably IPTV & OTT. Experience with troubleshooting, integration, and testing of various digital video broadcast and delivery systems.
    • Programming and scripting knowledge. Create and manage scripts to perform system tasks with PowerShell experience a plus.
    • Design and maintenance of Active Directory, GPOs, and other Windows core services.
    • Strong knowledge of networking. Extensive background in Internet related protocols and applications including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/SSL, HSS, RTSP & IGMP.
    • Performance tuning, and system assessments.
    • Administration experience with Windows systems running MS Server (2012, 2016)
    • Familiarity with middleware and digital rights management
    • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information and requirements effectively to others both orally and written.
    • Outstanding customer service and time management skills, strong sense of ownership, and a can do attitude

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems over Linux
    • Experience working in a Mid-size to Large environment

    Ability to create and manage work instructions, system and project documentation
