    What You Will Be Doing

    The purpose of this position is to receive service call requests and dispatch, schedule and follow-up on work orders. Minimize missed appointments and maximize Technical Field personnel productivity.

     

    Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

    • Create dispatch schedule
    • Responsible for customer installation and trouble service assignments, using computer dispatch equipment
    • Responds to customer service request by prioritizing and dispatching work orders for installation and/or trouble calls
    • Ensures daily routes to meet drive time, on-time guarantee, productivity and skill set goals.
    • Monitors technicians work order status and adjusts throughout the day
    • Maintains regular contact with technicians to provide support or adjust service levels based on customer calls
    • Places outbound calls to customers both pre-and post-service
    • Demonstrates ability to learn equipment and steps required for efficient dispatch
    • Handles routine problems and/or less active regions and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
    • Ability to receive detailed instructions and carry through to completion
    • Produce various excel spreadsheets and reports
    • Perform all other duties as assigned

    What You Need to Bring

    • Minimum one year Customer Service and/or Dispatch experience
    • Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Excellent Data Entry Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to both read and write English
    • Prior customer service experience in cable, field or office environment
    • Ability to maintain records in a well-organized manner
    • High School Diploma
    • Bilingual a plus
