    What You Will Be Doing

    The IT program manager is responsible for the effective planning and execution of all enterprise IT operational and technical projects. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the enterprise PMO including resolving project and resource conflicts, facilitating solutions across department boundaries, tracking and communicating progress of multiple concurrent projects, standardizing processes across different project teams and driving the sense of urgency to meet time sensitive project deadlines. The PMO manager oversees critical project functions including stakeholder engagement, governance, project costs, vendor management, project documentation, risk management and status reporting.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities:

     

      
    • Measure and communicate progress and status across projects and identify overall cross-project issues and dependencies
    • Demonstrated ability to influence people and decisions across multiple disciplines
    • Provide vendor management based on SOW and other contractual obligations
    • Negotiate vendor contracts
    • Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders including presentations, capturing of key decisions, meeting notes and recordings
    • Monitors, analyses and manages project risks
    • Works with vendors and stakeholders on system and user acceptance testing
    • Interacts with highly technical teams on system designs, interfaces and analytics
    • Interfaces with business units including customer service, finance, construction, warehouse
    • Facilitates end user training

    What You Need to Bring

    • Extensive knowledge and expertise in project/program management
    • PMP Certified
    • Extensive knowledge of project management practices including PMBOK guide and standards
    • Experience with the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Expert utilization of project management software (MSProject/Jira/Confluence)
    • Expert utilization of MSOffice tools including Visio
    • Ability to build functional and technical documentation to influence technical decisions
    • Experience in the telecommunication industry a plus
    • Experience working on complex billing / CRM system conversions a plus
    • Experience implementing warehouse and inventory management systems a plus
    • Ability to create and manage Gantt charts

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or related field is required
