    What You Will Be Doing

    The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to sales team and all sales verticals (residential, commercial, hospitality, assisted living, etc.) in a rapid growth environment in SW FL. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, organized, inventive and efficient. This role will be responsible for working closely with the sales team to assist in sales force lead generation, demos and event planning as needed. A strong attention to detail is required as well as the ability to support several projects simultaneously and efficiently. A positive can-do attitude is a key to success in this role.

     

    It will be an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to utilize this as an entry level sales position. In this role, the successful candidate will not only have the ability to learn the different sales verticals at Hotwire by taking part in sales meetings and presentations as required, but also have the opportunity to learn sales from the ground up. The right candidate must have the drive to learn and grow as there will be opportunity for growth and advancement.

     

     

    Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

    • Works with the SW FL sales team to compose customer proposals and presentations
    • Assists the sales team with any incomplete contracts/service orders or outstanding deliverables
    • Maintains and assists in gathering, updating and providing collateral and branded material for sales appointments and demonstration presentations
    • Works with the sales team and other internal departments to ensure the appropriate people attend sales appointments and product demonstrations
    • Manages follow up correspondence for various sales appointments and internal projects
    • Assists with event preparation for on and offsite sales demonstration and/or tradeshows
    • Manages CRM data base and other databases
    • Coordinates and oversees invoicing process and commission tracking
    • Self-motivated and proactive around the needs of the sales team and the organization
    • Ability to think creatively and calmly when it comes to quick and unplanned changes in schedule
    • Responsible for weekly upload of new sales leads into salesforce.com
    • Remains knowledgeable of our products and services along with current competition in the market
    • Schedules and facilitates regular project status meetings, creates meeting agenda, and distributes an updated status report for assigned projects
    • Coordinates and facilitates property events and expo events
    • Other duties as assigned

    What You Need to Bring

    • College preferred; minimum high school diploma or its equivalent required
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritizes project based on timing and resource availability
    • Must have at least three (3) years of administrative and sales experience
    • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • High attention to detail and follow up
    • Excited, results driven and self-motivated to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to the company’s changing needs
    • Collaborative, resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, work under stress and be able to multitask
    • Willingness to follow all departmental process, procedure and guidelines during daily course of business in addition to compliance with all corporate policies
    • Strong work ethic and display personal and corporate integrity
    • Previous cable experience preferred
